Your First Visit

John Cutler will spend time with you and your partner to discuss your suit requirements in detail, and his knowledge and expertise will ensure that whatever your size and shape your suit will be the perfect fit so you will look and feel your very best on the big day.

He will ask you to try on a suit that approximates to your size and figure. Using his nearly 50 years experience in tailoring John will then make detailed notes of your measurements and any adjustments that may be required.

We offer a full range of single and double-breasted designs. Tell us what you are looking for and John will tailor a suit to your individual taste and specifications.

You will make your final fabric choices from the wide range of fabric samples that John has available, sourced from leading European fabric houses Dormeuil, Vitale Barberis Canonico and Loro Piana. John has an expert understanding of how fabrics behave and can advise on the most suitable fabric for the type of garment that you are looking for.

Personalising Your Suit

John will then give you advice on the various design options that are available to make the suit uniquely yours including:

• Venting
• Choice of linings
• Pockets
• Buttons
• Button Holes
• Monogramming and embroidery

Making Your Wedding Suit

Then, based on all the information collated, and the instructions given by John, your garments will be cut and manufactured by our business partner in Europe using world-class technology incorporating the latest computerised pattern technology and automated cutting. This produces a garment that fits your specific measurements and is styled to the highest international standards.

Creating the perfect suit is at the core of everything that we do. To ensure 100% customer satisfaction when you return for your second appointment you will be invited to try on your garment to determine whether any fine-tuning is necessary.

Ready For The Big Day

In the rare case that some final minor adjustments are necessary these will be completed in our Sydney workshop within a matter of days and your finished garment will then be ready for you to collect.

Male Members of the Wedding Party

In all cases the groom’s outfit should complement that of his bride, and whilst male members of the wedding party should not be clones of the groom, they should in turn be dressed to complement him, not compete.

We can also help with suitable outfits and accessories for your groomsmen and other members of your wedding party to ensure that they complement the look and style of the day, and enhance the bride and groom’s own dress. In this instance we will be happy to offer you a special price if you order a number of made custom-made suits at the one time. All this can be considered when you meet with John, and appropriate options and budgets are agreed.

Making An Appointment

Appointments can be made throughout the week and John will also arrange to meet you on a Saturday, if that is a more convenient option for you.
