When you first visit our private showrooms situated in O’Connell Street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD John Cutler will sit down with you and discuss your specific requirements and expectations including your preferred design, style, choice of fabric and detailing requirements such as linings, vents, number of pockets, pocket sizes and shapes and buttons.

We offer a full range of traditional and modern men’s suit designs. Classic double breasted with two, four or six buttons, single breasted with one, two, three or four buttons. Tell us what you are looking for and we will tailor a suit to your taste.

John will ask you to try on a garment that approximates to your size and figure, which has been cut to a Savile Row pattern by our partners in London. The London cut features a fuller draped chest and nipped in waist to provide a more masculine appearance. Using his more than 45 years experience in tailoring John will then make detailed notes of your measurements and any adjustments that may be required.

You will make your final fabric choices from the thousands of fabric samples that John has available, all sourced from the leading fabric houses of the world. John has an expert understanding of how fabrics behave and can advise on the most suitable fabric for the particular task.

Based on the information collated by John all your garments will be made for you by an individual experienced tailor, not on a production line. Jackets include floating canvases, which ensure fabrics retain their soft, natural feel.

When you return for a second appointment you will be invited to try on your garments to determine whether any fine-tuning is necessary.

If required, these final adjustments will be completed within a matter of days and your finished garments will then be ready for you to collect.

On average you can expect the whole process to take five to six weeks from you placing your order to completion. If you have a particular requirement for a shorter lead-time every effort will be made to meet your required deadline.

Our men’s suit prices start from $3,800 with the final price being dependant on your choice of fabric.
